Interlaken: Musikfest-Absage 2026 – Was nun?

Okay, folks, let's talk about something that's got me, and probably a lot of you, totally bummed: the cancellation of the Interlaken Musikfest in 2026. Seriously, bummed. I was already planning my trip, you know? New hiking boots, checked. Tickets to see my favorite band (who, let's be honest, are only playing because of the Musikfest), partially booked. Hotel? Still looking, but I had a killer list of options. Poof. Gone. Cancelled. Thanks a bunch, universe.

The Devastation (and the Logistics)

The official announcement hit like a ton of bricks. I mean, I saw it coming – there were rumors, whispers on the wind – but hearing it confirmed? Ugh. It felt like someone had stolen my summer plans. My carefully crafted itinerary, my dreams... gone.

• Sightseeing: The town of Interlaken itself is charming, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and historical sites to explore.

My New Plan: Embracing Spontaneity (and Backup Plans!)

So, my advice? Don't be like me! Don't procrastinate! Book early. Have backup plans. And for crying out loud, embrace the unexpected. This Musikfest cancellation totally threw a wrench in my plans, but it's also forced me to think outside the box and potentially discover new adventures. And who knows? Maybe I'll find my new favorite Swiss cheese in the process!
