Years ago, I was obsessed with climbing the corporate ladder. I wanted that corner office, that fancy title – you know, the whole nine yards. I spent months working on a huge project, pulling all-nighters, living on coffee and sheer willpower. I was sure it would be my ticket to a VP role. Someone who, let's be honest, didn't put in nearly the same effort.

Or a behind-the-scenes powerhouse, helping your team reach its goals. Even outside of work, you might be a leader in your community, volunteering and improving lives around you. Those are equally important, and often more fulfilling than any job title.

Finding Fulfillment Beyond the "Posten"

Now, I focus on making a real difference. I'm still ambitious, but my ambition is directed toward tangible results and positive contributions, not just climbing the ladder. I still like to be challenged, to learn and grow and take the lead – but the focus is shifted towards personal fulfillment and meaningful work, not just status. It’s about creating positive impact and working with a team that supports my growth. I’ve learned to focus on the journey, not just the destination.
