Hey Leute! Let's talk Roborock Q5 Max+. I know, I know, another robot vacuum review. But hear me out – I've actually lived with this thing for a few months now, and I'm ready to spill the tea. This isn't some sponsored post; this is my honest, slightly grumpy, sometimes enthusiastic take on the Q5 Max+. Because let's face it, choosing a robot vacuum is HARD. I almost bought a Roomba, then nearly settled for a much cheaper, no-name brand, before finally landing on this one. And boy, am I glad I did (mostly).

Erste Eindrücke: Unboxing und Setup

The unboxing was pretty standard fare. Nothing too exciting, but everything was neatly packaged. Setup? Piece of cake! The app (Roborock App, obviously) was surprisingly intuitive – even I could figure it out, and I'm technologically challenged at best. I mean, I still use a flip phone sometimes... Don't judge. Connecting it to my Wi-Fi was a breeze. Seriously, it was faster than setting up my old printer (which took approximately 12 years, 7 phone calls to tech support, and several existential crises).

The battery life is pretty solid, lasting about 150 minutes on a single charge, according to the specs. In my experience, this was accurate, give or take, which is pretty cool. That's enough to clean my entire apartment on a single charge, even though I have a fairly large home. Cleaning performance? I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars. It doesn't get everything, but it gets most things, which is way better than I was expecting for the Preis. There were some minor struggles with the carpet, but on my laminate floors, this thing is a cleaning machine!

So, the million-dollar question: Would I recommend the Roborock Q5 Max+? For the price, absolutely! It's not perfect – no robot vacuum is – but it's a solid performer that offers great value for money. Its battery life and cleaning ability (especially the pet hair pickup!) were excellent surprises. Its navigation has minor issues, but overall the pros outweigh the cons. Consider your needs. If you need something that cleans exceptionally well and efficiently, but not an absolute top-of-the-line model, then give the Q5 Max+ a look. It's a worthwhile investment, especially if you have pets or struggle with allergies.
